Hi everyone

Sorry I haven’t written for a few weeks following the playoff games.  Just so you know the junior players continue to train each week and there is a scrimmage open to all – just pay and play on Thursdays @ 6.30pm. Behind the scenes work continues to prepare for next season when we hope to run teams across all ages and abilities.  If you are interested in playing why not get in touch. Present training will continue until schools ...

Just a quick one today as there are no home games.   However it is actually a very busy weekend with all 4 teams in action.  The U14s replay their QF v Surrey Goldhawks at 10am on Saturday at the Amaechi Centre in Manchester.  A win would mean they join all our other reams in their respective semi-finals.   The U18s tip at 12noon at Bellevue Manchester v Sevenoaks, the U16s tip at 4.15pm v Manchester also at Bellevue and ...

Before talking about this weekend I would like to thank all the supporters who made the trip to Nottingham last weekend.  We were all rewarded with a fantastic game (probably the best of this WBBL season) which Hatters eventually won 86-85 in overtime.  The fans made a lot of noise throughout the game and it was fantastic that our supporters were at least as vocal as theirs.  Their energy and enthusiasm certainly helped the team to maintain their efforts throughout ...

Walking basketball sessions have resumed on Thursdays @ All Saints from 6-7pm.  At present they are attended by a small but keen group of men and women including some complete beginners and cover a wide age range….. so everyone is welcome and it would be good to have new members.  At present sessions only cost £1.50 (normal price £3) so why not come and give it a try.

Welcome to the last weekend of the regular season.  There is only one game for Hatters to complete…….Nottingham Wildcats v Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters.  The game tips at the Wildcats Arena at 5.30pm on Saturday.  Many supporters have already promised to make the journey and hope you can come too.  Nottingham are unbeaten in the league (although Hatters knocked them out of the Trophy) so it will be a tough game and I am sure a fantastic advert for the ...

So play-offs have arrived and Hatters Junior teams have some of the most important games of the year.  If they lose the games it will be their last of the season!  On Saturday the U14s must travel south to play Surrey Goldhawks in their QF match which tips at 1pm.  Then on Sunday the U16s also travel South this time to face Haringey Angels for a 1.30pm tip in their QF. We wish them safe journeys and the best of ...

As the junior teams continue to prepare for their playoff games next weekend the WBBL has a hectic end to their league schedule.  This weekend they have games on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday they travel to Manchester for a 3pm tip.  Manchester may be bottom of the league but have some talented players and the team intend to go into the game giving them the respect they deserve.  Then on Sunday they are in action at All Saints ...

Sorry late posting today!  Not many games to report this week as all the junior teams have completed their leagues although I believe there is a friendly game at 3pm on Saturday as part of their preparation for the playoffs.  The WBBL team meanwhile still have several games to play beginning on Saturday at 5pm when they tip off v Sevenoaks Suns at All Saints.

Seven of the WBBL players (Helen, Naomi, Beandu, Sabra, Georgia, Ana and Stef) and coach Vanessa ...
