The Junior Season reaches it’s climax this weekend as the Final Fours take place in Manchester. The best 4 teams in each age group U14, U16 and U18 meet to battle for medals and the right to be called this years Champions. With all league games now complete the WBBL team have ended the season in 3rd place and so have a home draw in the first round of the Benecos Playoffs. The game is at All Saints on Saturday and the tip is at 3pm v local rivals Nottingham Wildcats who finished 6th in the league. This weekend is the last weekend of the regular season in the WBBL and for the Hatters there is still a lot to play for. They have two games to play this weekend – both on the road. This weekend is the penultimate weekend of the regular season in the WBBL. The team welcome Manchester to All Saints on Sunday at 3pm. It is likely to be a tough game as Hatters lost in Manchester just a fortnight ago. However Hatters did win all the matches in the Cup and Trophy competitions earlier in the year. So this weekend there are no games for the U16Ps or U18s although they will both be back in action next weekend having made it to the next round of the Playoffs and unfortunately the season is over for the U16D team who lost their playoff game.

So the Junior National League Play Offs have arrived and this weekend all 3 junior teams will be in action.
On Saturday the U18s tip at 12.30pm v Oaklands at All Saints whilst the U16D team have to travel to Manchester for their 1pm tip. On Sunday it is the U16P team’s turn as they take on Bristol Academy Flyers at All Saints – they tip at 2.15pm. We wish all 3 teams the best of Luck!!!

With the junior teams having completed all their league fixtures it is a relatively quiet weekend ahead before the U16s and U18s begin their playoff campaigns next weekend.
The U12s however begin their playoffs on Saturday when they travel to Doncaster to face Sheffield Sharks and Doncaster Eagles in the Yorkshire Mixed League. We wish them the best of luck.
