So the weekend is nearly here again and it’s a busy one for the Hatters.

The action begins at Noon on Saturday with a tournament for the youngest members of the club (U12s) at All Saints.  Meanwhile the U18s will be arriving for their 1pm tip v perennial rivals Manchester Mystics.  This should be an exciting game so why not come down and give your support?  Next to tip are the U16s at 2.30pm – they face Southend Swifts another club ...

Hatters v Haringey – U16s

Final Score: Hatters 50 – Haringey 66

Haringey got off to a strong start achieving 8 points in the first minutes but the Hatters girls fought back with some great team work resulting with the score at 15 all after the 1st quarter.
A lack of concentration gave Haringey the opportunity to push forward with them winning the 2nd and 3rd quarter.
In the last quarter the Hatters pulled back winning the quarter 15-5.

Durham v Hatters – WBBL

Durham Palatinates 52-93 Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters (21-27, 25-51, 37-72)

Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters continued their unbeaten start to the season in fine form with a convincing 93-52 road victory over Durham Palatinates.

Hatters v West Bromwich – U18s

Sheffield Hatters under 18s came up against a gutsy West Brom side at All Saints. The Hatters girls put on a series of fast breaks, with quick and accurate passing and strong driving runs that were too powerful for West Brom, but to West Broms credit they never gave up and scored a lovely 3 pointer. All the girls got on the scoresheet today.

First of all sorry that there was no Friday Forum last week, hope it doesn’t mean anyone missed any of the games. Pleased to say all 4 teams played and all 4 teams won! Remember if there is no Friday Forum you can always check for games on the WBBL website and Basketball England.
