Nottingham Wildcats 79 – 74 Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters (18-13, 36-31, 58-59)

Nottingham Wildcats continued their pursuit of the top four as they used a late run to beat rivals Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 79-74 at Wildcats Arena.

The sixth-placed Wildcats have now won five of their last six games in all competitions, and have taken this season’s WBBL Championship head-to-head with Hatetrs while also levelling the all-time league head-to-head at four wins apiece.

Stockport v Hatters – U18s

Today the Sheffield Hatters were away to Stockport Lapwings who were 6th in the table with 6 wins and 7 losses.

Friday Forum

Welcome to another Friday Forum….slightly early this week.  There are three games this weekend but all away from home.  The U16s travel to Haringey for a 1pm tip (so an early start for them).  Then the U18s travel to Stockport for a 4pm tip.  Finally the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters WBBL team travel to Nottingham for a 5.30pm tip.  As there are no home games why don’t you take to the road too…..go on Nottingham is not so far!

Leicester v Hatters – WBBL

Leicester Riders 74 – 72 Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters (20-19, 36-41, 57-62)

Leicester Riders won a crucial game as the top two in the WBBL Championship break away from the pack, after edging out Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 74-72.

The second-placed Riders have now made it six league wins in a row, moving to 9-1, and have beaten the Hatters in the last three meetings. Third-placed Sheffield, meanwhile, slip to 8-3.

Newcastle v Hatters – U18s

The Sheffield Hatters under 18s made the long away trip to Newcastle to play a well drilled Newcastle team sitting 3rd in the league on 7 wins and 6 losses. 
 
The 1st quarter started off well for the Hatters they defended brilliantly and really restricted the newcastle offense as they were closing down the space quickly and trapping the Newcastle players. The 1st quarter ended 6 v 13 to the Hatters.

Friday Forum

Hello and welcome to another weekend of Hatter’s basketball.  Most of the games this week are away with 3 teams on the road.  There is however one home fixture on Saturday when the U16s welcome Brighton Cougars to All Saints for a 2pm tip.

Meanwhile the U18s will be travelling to Newcastle for their 2pm tip and the WBBL Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters  will be heading to Loughborough where they face Leicester Riders in a 4.30pm tip.
