After a extremely successful season Sheffield Hatters have now started their summer training and recruitment for next season:
Tuesdays
  • Girls aged 13-15 5-6.30pm Cost £3.00
Thursdays
  • Girls aged under 11 5-6.30pm Cost £2.50
  • Girls aged 11-13 5-6.30pm Cost £3.00
  • Women’s  6.30-8.00pm Cost £3.00
Players wishing to join the Division one programme (Including players looking to come to Sheffield Hallam University) 2014/15 season should email lorainegayle@hotmail.com

Harrisons’ Standout Finals Performance Leads to England Select

The Westfield Health City of Sheffield Hatters under 14s squad can now call themselves the number one team in England.

 

The Hatters came out on top of the England Basketball weekend after defeating the Manchester Mystics 76-53 in the semi-finals, and beating the Southend Swifts in the finals 74-62.

Sheffield Hatters Hosted a Friendly Tournament Against Northants Lightening and Liffey

Sheffield Hatters started the New Year hosting Northants Lightening and Liffey who had travelled from Ireland to play in the friendly tournament. After the games Ariel Parrucci ran a training workshop on Sunday 5th January which saw all the teams come together to learn new skills.

Westfiled Health Sheffield Hatters play in the Semi-Finals of the Betty Codona Classic

Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters cruised to an 88-49 win over Manchester Mystics to book their place in the semi-finals.

Mystics kept it close for the opening period, trailing by just three, but Hatters turned it into a whitewash from there on out.

Two More Home Games Before Christmas

Division 1 have two more home games before Christmas.  The first is this Saturday (14.12.13) at 1.00pm.  The team are playing Sevenoaks at All Saints so why not come down and support them.  Next week on Saturday 21st the team play their last game of 2013 v Loughborough at 2.00pm. Don’t forget they begin 2014 by taking part in the Betty Codona Classic at Nottingham.

On Sunday the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters clinched the number one spot in the England Basketball League after their victory over the Loughborough Riders. The Hatters defeated the Riders 92-82 but it was a hard fought road to secure the win.
