The City of Sheffield Hatters Women’s Basketball Club operates a “100 Club” to raise funds for the club. The profits go towards the running costs of the Club and its future development.
The 100 Club is open to members, their families and friends.
The cost of numbers to be entered into the monthly draw are £3 each.
A third of all income after expenses is paid out as prizes.

Stockport had an early lead from the start of the tip. They were able to put pressure on the Hatters forcing them to make minor errors throughout the first half. The Hatters fought back to win the third quarter. Unfortunately due to bad weather The City of Sheffield Hatters’ Yorkshire Basketball League team had to postpone their first game of 2013 against Sheffield Gems on Friday 18th November. The U16s and Division 1’s games have also been postponed on Saturday 19th January.

MONTHLY BASKETBALL COMPETITION FOR UNDER 12′s
This is a friendly local initiative which provides an introduction to basketball competition. It is also suitable for young apprentice officials to train and gain experience, and for new coaches to get involved with the sport. Everyone signs up to the developmental ethos to ensure that the players have an enjoyable experience, to help encourage them to take up the sport and continue with their basketball at club level.

This weekend, the Sheffield Hatters (7-0) will be meeting up with two teams that they have yet to face this season. On Sunday, the Hatters host UWIC Archers (4-2) who currently sit in 4th place. After dropping their first two games this season, Cardiff have come back to win four straight. The Hatters will look to continue their strong play and gaining another victory. 12 January 2013 – This weekend saw the Hatters U18 play host to Yorkshire rivals Hatfield in the first game back after the Christmas break. Although The Fliers posted the first points of the game, their elation was short lived and the Sheffield girls were unphased pulling back in front almost immediately. 12 January 2013 – Sheffield Hatters’ Under 16s won their first home game of 2013 with a convincing 99-23 victory over Leeds Carnegie. Hatters were in control from the start dominating Leeds 26-6 at the end of the first quarter. Sheffield carried their momentum into the second quarter and scored 13 points in the first 3 minutes whilst Carnegie were yet to get a basket.
