Hatters took a 7 point lead with no reply from Leeds until the 4th minute and finished the 1st quarter 25-11 up. They continued to work hard to extend their lead to 48-19 at half time. Second game out for the Sheffield Hatters U18s which they over powered Sefton 74-22 on Sunday 20th October. Sefton work hard as a group but were not able to over come the strength of the Hatters. A pleasing second victory for the Sheffield Hatters at the start of the season.

City of Sheffield Hatters U14s tipped off the season with an outstanding 72-32 win over Stockport Lapwings. This Saturday the Sheffield Hatters took part in their first home game of the season versus the Cardiff Archers. With both teams coming off a win for their last match, the Archers proved to be the victor in this game with a final score of 77-74. Throughout the entire game both teams were close in scoring which resulted in an exciting game. At the half the Hatters were only down by one point with the score at 31-30.

Hatters U16 travelled to Cheshire Panthers looking for a positive response to their opening defeat against Manchester last weekend. The first three minutes saw Hatters take an 11 point lead with no response from Cheshire. Cheshire came back leaving Hatters 14 – 21 up after the first Quarter.
