Congratulations to the GB Women with our own Vanessa Ellis for their win V Poland and the very best for your game in Manchester on Sunday v Belarus. So with the GB team away there is no WBBL game again this week but still plenty going on.

Peterman FLT Hatters have no games in the WBBL this week or next as the league takes a break to release players for GB duties as they try to qualify for the Eurobasket. Hatters head coach Vanessa Ellis will be setting off to accompany them as assistant coach.

Sorry for the later than usual posting but at least it’s still Friday!

There are three games to look forward to this weekend. First on Saturday our U16P team welcome Oaklands to All Saints for a 1.00pm tip. This is followed at 3pm by Peterman FLT Hatters v Cardiff Archers in a WBBL Championship game.

Hi everyone it’s the start of half-term in Sheffield this week with many of our players looking forward to a well earned rest but training and games continue as usual and there are also a couple of extra dates for your diaries. So another busy weekend for Hatters approaches, especially for our younger players.

On Saturday the U12s head to Manchester for a 12.30pm tip (originally a second game v Leicester was planned but there is now only one game). Meanwhile the U14P team welcome Stockport Lapwings to All Saints also for a 12.30pm tip.

Finally Peterman FLT Sheffield Hatters (our WBBL team) head for Nottingham for a 6.30pm tip on Saturday evening at the Wildcats Arena.

This weekend there are 4 games to look out for. On Saturday our U14P team travel to Newcastle (the tip time is not confirmed on BE but I believe is at Noon) at the same time the Div 2 team will be travelling to Stockport for their 2pm tip.

Race Night 2019

Our annual Race Night will be held in Goals Lounge on Mon 28th Oct.  We will be aiming for the first race to set off around 7pm with the usual schedule of events and fun!  

Admission on the night will be £1 for all guests/punters and all the admission tickets will go into a draw for a prize.

With all league games now complete the WBBL team have ended the season in 3rd place and so have a home draw in the first round of the Benecos Playoffs. The game is at All Saints on Saturday and the tip is at 3pm v local rivals Nottingham Wildcats who finished 6th in the league.
