100 Club First Draw To Happen in March

The first draw of the new Hatters 100 Club will take place at the March Fundraising Committee Meeting.
Thank you to everyone who has already bought their numbers but if you haven’t already it is not too late to be included in this first draw. Please ask your team manager or a member of the fundraising committee for an application form.

Division 1: Winning Streak Continues

The Hatters got off to a slow start against Barking Abbey on Saturday night as Barking were able to get out in front of the Hatters and secure a short lead. The Hatters struggled offensively as their shots were not falling. Barking won the first quarter 12-16.

Division 1: Hatters Continue their Winning Streak

Saturday, at the Hatters home gym, All Saints, the Hatters faced their toughest battle so far this season when they hosted the Nottingham Wildcats. After winning the tap, the Wildcats were not able to get a basket as the Hatters raced down the court, getting the ball to Sarah Cooney who would score the first 3 points of the game. THE “100 CLUB”

The City of  Sheffield Hatters Women’s Basketball Club operates a “100 Club” to raise funds for the club. The profits  go towards the running costs of the Club and its future development.

The 100 Club is open to members, their families and friends.

The cost of numbers to be entered into the monthly draw are £3 each.

A third of all income after expenses is paid out as prizes.

Snow Postpones Games

Unfortunately due to bad weather The City of Sheffield Hatters’ Yorkshire Basketball League team had to postpone their first game of 2013 against Sheffield Gems on Friday 18th November. The U16s and Division 1’s games have also been postponed on Saturday 19th January.

Division I: Weekend Preview

This weekend, the Sheffield Hatters (7-0) will be meeting up with two teams that they have yet to face this season. On Sunday, the Hatters host UWIC Archers (4-2) who currently sit in 4th place.
