Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 104 (19,53,82) (Naylor 23, Thomas-Johnson 20, Gandy 19)
Team Northumbria 66 (21,34,52) (Mobley 20, O’Dwyer 16, Manigrasso 16)

The trio of Helen Naylor, Lauren Thomas-Johnson and Steph Gandy combined for 62 points, as Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters routed Team Northumbria 104-66 at home at the All Saints Sports Centre to improve to a 7-1 record in the WBBL Championship, while the visitors dropped to 6-2.

FRIDAY FORUM

After last weekend’s successes the Club has another big weekend this week.  The WBBL team have their last two league games before Christmas which conclude the first half of this season (they will have played each of the other teams in the league once). On Saturday they meet Team Northumbria at 2pm at All Saints then on Sunday they must make the long trip to Cardiff to play the Archers at 2.30pm.  The U16s are also away on Sunday…..they must make ...

Steph Gandy Named in WBBL Team of the Week – Week 8

The Great Britain forward has found great form after her belated start to the season due to an injury. Gandy has hit the ground running and makes a return to our fabulous five after claiming a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds for Hatters in the WBBL Trophy quarter-final against Manchester Mystics. While it wasn’t her greatest shooting night, it was brilliant defensive work which really stood out as she snapped up a scintillating seven steals.

Hi it’s Friday again.  This week div 2 and the U18s get a weekend off but the other 3 teams are all in action. On Sunday the U14s and U16s both travel to Bury for their away games.  The U16s play at 1.00pm in what promises to be a good match as the teams have identical records of 3 wins and 2 losses.  Then at 3.00pm the U14s play.  Bury are still looking for their first win of the season whilst ...
