The action begins at noon on Saturday @ All Saints school when the Hallam Hatters (Div 2) welcome Mansfield Giants. This game is followed at 3pm by the crucial Trophy semi-final game between Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters and Sevenoaks Suns. Surrey Goldhawks v Sheffield Hatters
The girls enjoyed their second victory of the new national premier league, away against Surrey Goldhawks. The girls started the game with great intensity and confidence leading 13-4 at the end of the first.
Continuing the pressured defence from the whole team and strong offensive and defensive rebounding from Tash Matawe, Hatters managed to keep the home side to just 7 second quarter points to lead 21-11 at the half.

There are no home games at All Saints this weekend – instead the U14s, U16s and Div 2 all take to the road…..Let’s hope the snow stays away!
On Saturday the U14s have a 12noon tip v Leeds Force, the U16s make the long trip south to face Surrey Goldhawks at 1.00pm. Then on Sunday Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters travel to Northumbria for their WBBL Trophy game at 4.00pm. Well tomorrow (Saturday) is a big day for the Hatters with 3 of our teams all at home @ All Saints. The only National league team not playing are the U16s but many of them are involved in the Div 2 game so it should be a lovely club afternoon.

Our second match of the new national premier league was away at Northampton.
The girls had a great start leading 11-17 at the end of the first quarter.
By Half time, the score was pretty much even going to the half time break leading 26-28.
We showed a lot of grit and determination working hard particularly in defence.
The third quarter continued in the same vain, a very close score line but the lead had changed hands finishing 40-39.
So another weekend is here and this weekend all 4 National League teams are in action. Unfortunately only one is a home game. That game is on Saturday when Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters face Caledonia Pride in their second WBBL Trophy game at 3pm. Caledonia will have made the long journey from Scotland to All Saints so we look forward to welcoming them.
