Peter Burgoyne Wins The First 100 Club Draw

The draw for the first monthly 100 club prize took place at the Division 1 game against Cardiff Archers on Sunday.

Peter Burgoyne father of Under 18 player Katie was the lucky winner and will receive a cheque for £35.
The next draw will take place mid April.

23rd March Bag Collection

On the 23rd March we will be collecting second hand clothes, bags, shoes, bedding, towels etc. Last time we did this we raised £200 so please bring down anything you can think of. It does not matter what state it is in as the bags are done by weight. So use this as an excuse to have a Spring clean because I’m sure spring is on its way soon!

Level 2 Table Official Course 23rd March

We are looking to run a L2 Table Officials Course at All Saints provisionally Sat 23 March 2013…….Cost £15……9.30-1.30pm……..tutored by Claire Ormandy.

Hatters girls travelled to ellesmere port this weekend to take on Cheshire panthers. Once again the u18 girls put in a solid confident team performance getting the job done and claiming the win. U18 Hatters travelled north to Tyneside this weekend to take on Newcastle Eagles.the Sheffield girls took control of this game from the tip and although the Eagles played with spirit it was no match for the performance put in by the Hatters who proved to be the stronger side taking the win by 75 – 38

THE “100 CLUB”

The City of  Sheffield Hatters Women’s Basketball Club operates a “100 Club” to raise funds for the club. The profits  go towards the running costs of the Club and its future development.

The 100 Club is open to members, their families and friends.

The cost of numbers to be entered into the monthly draw are £3 each.

A third of all income after expenses is paid out as prizes.

12 January 2013 – This weekend saw the Hatters U18 play host to Yorkshire rivals Hatfield in the first game back after the Christmas break. Although The Fliers posted the first points of the game, their elation was short lived and the Sheffield girls were unphased pulling back in front almost immediately.
