So another busy weekend for the Hatters starts early this week when the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters play Oakland Wolves at 5.04pm this afternoon (Friday).  This game is at the EIS before the Sheffield Sharks game at 7.30pm. The game is being broadcast by the BBC (hence the precise timing).  Despite the change of venue the price for just the Hatters game is the same as usual home games (just £2 and £1 for concessions) and you can pay on ...

Charnwood v Hatters – U18s

Today Sheffield Hatters under 18s made the long away trip to Charnwood for a top of the table clash. Both teams are fighting for the best play off spots and winning the league.

Hope you are all safe and warm and that this weeks weather has not caused you too much inconvenience (or worse).  I have been delaying writing this in case there are any cancellations due to the weather but as of now I have heard of none.  The Hatters are a hardy bunch and training sessions have gone on as normal all week. Hatters v Manchester – U18s

Today Sheffield Hatters under 18s had a tough game ahead of them against Manchester Mystics. Both sides needed to win to help in their push for the playoffs.
 
Sheffield Hatters won the tip and set off on the offensive, their first few shots missed but were great siters before the girls put in two lovely jump shots and started the ball rolling. They went on to take the first quarter 20 points to 12.

With Coach Vanessa Ellis away at GB training and European qualifying games there is no WBBL fixture this weekend although the girls will be playing a friendly as part of their training schedule on Sunday afternoon.  

All the junior teams are in action however.  On Saturday the U14s travel to Tameside and the U16s to Nottingham but there is one game at All Saints and it could be a very important one.  The U18s tip at 3pm v their old rivals ...
