Welcome to another busy weekend for the Hatters with all of our National League teams in action…the U18s twice!

On Saturday the U18s travel to Stockport for a late tip off at 6.00pm whilst the U14s have a 12noon tip at All Saints v Lancashire Spinners Bury…sure they will appreciate your support if you can make it.  The WBBL team meanwhile will be travelling to Leicester to play their league game v Riders.  The game is to be live streamed  to celebrate ...

Hatters v Leeds Force – U18’s

With Hatters currently on a 6-1 record and Leeds with a 5-2 record, the team were desperate for a positive result today. This would boost their chances of a strong playoff position.

Starting 5 for Hatters were Dooley, Axelby, Bennett, Goodwin and Silcock.

Hatters v Nottingham – U18s

Both teams came out strong in the first quarter, with the score being neck and neck. The foul on Jo Lowry as the clock was running down left hatters leaving the first quarter with a 24-21 lead.

Hatters restricted Nottingham to 12 points in the second quarter. Offensively hatters fought through the zone, to increase it to a nine point lead by half time. 42-33

Hatters v West Bromwich – U18s

Our strong defence prevented West Brom from scoring until the 9th minute, Millie Dooley led fast breaking streak scoring 10 which meant leaving first quater with a 24-6 lead.

The strong defence continued into the second quarter, limiting west Brom to only 4 points. Jo Lowry scored 12 points. Ending the first half 52-10

Happy New Year and welcome back to Friday Forum after our short break for Christmas and New Year.  Games resume this weekend for most of our teams. On Saturday the WBBL team travel to Barking (London) for a 6pm tip.
