So welcome to another busy weekend of basketball. This is especially true for the Div 2 side who play on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday they welcome Derbyshire Diamonds to All Saints for a 5pm tip. Then on Sunday they make the long trip to play Div 1 side Solent Kestrel sin the Womens National Cup again tipping at 5pm.

The Juniors are in action too! On Saturday the U14s travel to Manchester for a 1pm tip and on Sunday the U16s make the short trip to Dronfield to play Derbyshire Arrows. On Sunday morning our youngest players are also busy at the CVL supported by the WBBL players.

Finally the WBBL have a home game on Sunday at 4pm v Newcastle Eagles. This game is sponsored by Reech Sport. Their Director Loknath Char told us:

Reech Sports was created with a vision to foster inclusive sporting opportunities be it through creating of accessible sporting infrastructure or empowering outreach sporting programmes. With these principles in mind we as an organisation have committed to do our best to make sports more inclusive by supporting and empowering organisations and programmes that encourage EVERYONE to have an opportunity to play and thrive in sport. There are few organisations that have done as much for women sport as Sheffield Hatters have by giving 1000s of young girls a chance to play, compete and achieve their sporting dreams in basketball in the UK. We are proud to be part of the Hatter’s journey and hope this is a start of a long-term relationship that sees many girls from Sheffield and the wider UK having an opportunity to play the sport they love, be active and remain healthy.

We would like to thank Reech Sport for their support and hope to see you all supporting the team on Sunday.
