The Junior National League teams have a break this week as they have finished their league features and playoffs don’t begin until the 11th/12th April but there is still plenty of action this weekend.  On Saturday the WBBL team face Nottingham Wildcats at 2pm.  This is the last fixture of the league season and the winner of the game will also win the inaugural WBBL league.  Both teams have lost only one league game all season!  Nottingham won the reverse fixture last October by one point but Hatters have won their two subsequent meetings in the Betty Codona Classic and WBBL Trophy finals.  Obviously both teams will be determined to win so it should be a great game!  We are expecting travelling supporters as Nottingham is so near and it is such an important game so make sure you come to All Saints and show your support – if you are unable to be there messages of support via the website, twitter or facebook would also be great!   On Sunday our Div 2 team also have an important game as they take on Ipswich in the first round of the playoffs (quarter finals).  Their tip is at 12.30pm also at All Saints.  Before their game Div 2 will  be helping at the CVL for local U13 teams so its a busy day for them!  Also on Sunday our Yorkshire League Team travel to Leeds to play in their Cup Final.  Unfortunately they will be taking a depleted team as several of their regular players will be involved in the playoff game but am sure they will still represent the club well.  We wish all three senior teams the best of luck and I for one am looking forward to watching some great basketball.
