Hi all and welcome back to the new season.   Actually I am a couple of weeks late…..apologies but my laptop has been out of action.  To update you, this season we have four National League teams  – U14s, U16s, U18s and WBBL.  The U18s began their campaign 2 weeks ago with an away victory over Sporting Club Albion and the U16s followed their lead the next day by beating Nottingham on their home court.  Unfortunately the first home game of the season which featured our U14s v Tameside was also the first loss.

This weekend sees the start of the WBBL season.  All nine teams from the league are in action at Loughborough.  On Saturday there are three games but Hatters must wait until Sunday to take to the court.  Their game begins at 3.15pm v Cardiff Archers and is followed by the 5th and final game of the WBBL opening weekend. Although the teams in the league are 9 of the 10 teams who competed last year many of the line-ups feature new players so it will be exciting to see them all play.

The U14s, U16s and U18s are also in action this weekend.  On Saturday the U14s travel to Derby to face the Trailblazers at 12.00noon whilst the U18s head North to take on Leeds Force at 3.30pm.  On Sunday the U16s welcome Barrow Thorns to All Saints for the only home game of the weekend which tips at 1.00pm.

We wish all the travelling teams safe journeys and Good Luck to all the girls.  Remember this is a Forum so you are all invited to comment or ask questions….it would be great to see your support on here even if you are unable to attend any of the games.
