Hi everyone and welcome back! Thanks to those of you who made comments last week. It really is good to know I’m not just talking to myself when I write this! Firstly apologies if any of the following is wrong but I have been working away in Coventry this week so have not had a chance to check with the teams but have had to rely on my latest fixture list! If anyone knows anything different please comment so we all know! This weekend sees the WBBL team, Div 2, U16s and U14s all in action. The U16s have to travel to Stockport on Saturday so safe journey and good luck to them. The other three teams are at home so there is plenty to watch at All Saints this weekend! On Saturday Div 2 tip off at 12.30 vs Bury in the league. Last week they travelled to Bury and played them in the Trophy……returning with a 73-49 victory which means they will now face Loughborough Riders in the Quarter Finals on December 7th. Hatters will be hoping for a repeat performance whilst Bury will be eager to improve on last weeks result. This game is followed by a WBBL league game – Hatters vs Leicester Riders. The teams are currently 3rd and 4th in the league, both having won 3 games so expect a good game! The U14s complete the National league action at 12.30pm on Sunday vs Tameside Royals. The girls were forced to forfeit their first game of the season to Tameside due to a technicality related to their licences….they will be eager to show how well they can play! In addition to all these National League fixtures there is also a CVL on Sunday morning – the youngest members of the club will be in action against other local teams with members of our U16 team helping by refereeing and officiating! Hope to see as many of you as possible on at least one of the days and remember please add your comments!
