It has been brought to my attention that there are people out there reading the posts I have made for the last few weeks about the weekend games. In future my posts will be called Friday Forum. My hope is that some of you reading these posts might make contributions of your own by adding comments. You might like to let us know that you are coming to one or more of the games or perhaps tell us which game you are looking forward to the most and why or you might simply like to wish the teams Good Luck or Safe Journey. If you want to you can also comment on the posts themselves – perhaps asking for more information or letting me know how I could make them more useful or interesting to you but please be kind!
This weekend sees all five Hatters teams in action. First the WBBL team face Sevenoaks Suns on Saturday at 3pm at All Saints. Sevenoaks have made a slow start with only one win from their opening four games but have recently strengthened their squad with the return of Cat Carr (last season’s top scorer for the club). Hatters meanwhile still have players missing due to injury but will put out a strong side hoping to make it their third victory out of four. The U14s, U16s, U18s and Div 2 are all playing on Sunday. The U14s will make an early start as they must travel to Barrow for a tip at 12noon. The U16s have a 12.15pm tip at Hatfield in the National Cup, they will be hoping to improve on last weeks performance when they lost to Hatfield in the League. Division 2 must also travel, this time to Bury for their Cup game which tips at 2.15pm. Last but not least the U18s have their first game in the National Cup. They are the only team at home on Sunday and tip off against Cheshire Panthers at 11.15am so why not join us. With all the teams in action at different venues there will be no opportunity for the girls to play for more than one team meaning that the teams will be small and everyone will have to play hard if they are to return with victories. Good Luck to them all. Lets go Hatters!Share
