Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters ended the unbeaten start of Leicester Riders with an 86-71 victory.
Steph Gandy led the way with 24 points, while Brittany Winborne continued her dominance on the boards with 16 rebounds to go with 14 points.
Sheffield used a 7-0 run to gain an advantage in the opening period and had a slender lead at the end of the first. The visitors responded well in the second and moved ahead at 29-30 before an 8-1 burst from the Hatters helped earn a six-point cushion at the break.
Leicester started the second half with a 13-3 run to build their largest lead of the game at 41-46, but the Hatters hit back with 11 straight points to re-gain control ahead of the final quarter.
Riders closed to within one early but were kept at bay by Sheffield and the home side surged to victory with a decisive 11-3 run.
Holly Winterburn top scored for the Riders with 18 points as they now drop to 4-1.
