After being without a game last weekend, the Hatters are back in action with a home game against Sevenoaks Suns tomorrow on a busy day of action, with no fewer than five games taking place.
Naylor has been the outstanding player for Hatters so far – although admits it hasn’t all been smooth running.
She said, “First of all, what an exciting start to the season it has been and with such a strong league this year, the competition is fierce and highly competitive – something which is great to see.
“As a team, we have had a tough start to the season with some good wins, but also some disappointing losses and especially being knocked out of the National Cup!
“We have re-grouped since then and despite some setbacks with injuries, we are getting better each week and really starting to gel.
“We welcome back Steph Gandy into the line-up ahead of this week’s game against Sevenoaks and this will be a much needed boost for us as she brings such leadership and energy to the team dynamic.
“Sevenoaks will be a tough test for us after a weekend off,” added Naylor.
“But, we will be looking to get back on top form and if we play the way we can, then I know we will have a successful season.”
The return of another Great Britain national team player in the shape of Gandy is a boost not only to Hatters, but also to the league and will really light as fire under the Yorkshire club’s title ambitions.
