Leeds Beckett University 41 (11,20,26) (Buxton 17, Roka 13, Gray 3)
Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 132 (34,60,92) (Royo Torres 25, Naylor 25, Gandy 21)
Vanessa Ellis and her her players showed a gulf in class as they made light work of despatching local rivals Leeds Beckett University in a power-packed 132-41 road win.
Wasting no time whatsoever in showcasing their firepower, the visitors stormed into a 34-11 lead and rarely took their foot off the accelerator throughout the remainder of the contest.
Indeed when Leeds reached the sanctuary of the locker room at the half, they might have been forgiven for thinking Hatters might ease up when the action resumed.
Instead, their opponents only cranked up a gear and outscored the home team 32-6 in a devastating display of superiority which was headlined by Estela Royo Torres.
The Spaniard continued her hot streak with a superb 25 points, nine rebounds, nine steals and six assists.
Helen Naylor was on fire too in the one-sided encounter and she also finished with 25 points, while the still winless Leeds were led by 17 points from Lucy Buxton.
