On Saturday the 11th of October 2014 Sheffield Hatters under 16’s added yet another victory to the start of their season. In the Hatters first away game they faced Leeds Force, and defeated them with a crazy score of 102-20. The Hatters controlled the game from the tip, finishing the first quarter with a 32-3 score , led by Emma Cheetham with 8 points.
Leeds played a great game in the second quarter, keeping the Hatters down to 19 points compared to their 32 in the first. But it wasn’t enough, as the Hatters kept their cool, playing well as a team and finishing the first half with a score of 51-7 with a strong 9 points from Eleanor Neath.
Hatters came out strong in the third quarter using set plays, and strong defensive moves. This quarter was led by Shauna Harrison with 7 points, and a score of 77-9, Hatters were determined to get to 100 in their last quarter. The fourth quarter ended with 102-20, led by JD Quinn with 8 points.
