Posted by:

Today Sheffield Hatters played there final 2017-18 regular season game away at Myerscough. The girls were looking today to cement there place in the play offs, boy did they do that.
The girls once again had a bit of a cagey start, Myerscough won the tip, but they soon got into there rhythm quickly, regularly trapping Myerscough in there own half. The girls then put there foot on the gas and took the first quarter 7 v 26.
Myerscough had there best quarter of the game during the second quarter taking 13 points to there credit but the Hatters girls never really let up the pace determined to put on a good performance. At halftime the score was 20 v 47.
The Hatters absolutely blitzed offense during the 3rd quarter and poor Myerscough struggled to get out of there own half and the girls really punished them with an all round outstanding shooting performance finishing the 3rd quarter 24 v 79.
Myerscough once again gave it a good go in the final quarter but the Hatters were just too strong, they crowned the game off with a 36 point quarter. The pick of the shots was a lovely 3 point fade away jump shot from Jess.
The final score was 33 v 115. Great effort girls!
