Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters continued their dominant form of late in the WBBL Championship with an 87-64 win away at Sevenoaks Suns.
The visitors trailed going into half-time, but turned it around with a strong second-half display with Helen Naylor finishing with a game-high 26 points, while Baendu Lowenthal pulled down 16 boards to go with 22 points for another big double-double.
Sevenoaks made a bright start and led by as many as seven at 18-11 early on, and would maintain that advantage by the end of the first. The Hatters battled back to tie the game at 31 midway through the second, but the Suns edged ahead by one at half-time.
The game changed in the second half as the Hatters came out firing to storm into the lead. By the end of the third, the visitors were up seven and their lead continued to grow in the fourth as it passed 20 points late on.
Hatters draw level with Northumbria on a 12-3 record and they close out the regular season against Nottingham Wildcats.
The Suns were led by Cat Carr’s 15 points as they finish their league campaign with nine defeats from 16 ahead of the Play-Offs.
