Steph Gandy has once again been named in the WBBL Team of the Week also joining her this week is Lauren Thomas-Johnson.
Steph Gandy (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
The Great Britain forward continues to shine and demonstrate why she is deemed to be the driving force for Hatters. Her 21 points in the semi-final against Riders was the key performance. Gandy shot an excellent 66% from the floor and also contributed four rebounds and two assists in a highly efficient performance which brought her a fourth starting five berth, having joined the action late in the wake of an injury which ruled her out at the start of the season.
Lauren Thomas-Johnson (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
The Great Britain star finally grabs a debut appearance in our starting five after an excellent display for Hatters to help them slide past Leicester Riders in an intense last four match-up. Thomas-Johnson showed her class with 19 points coming off the bench, including four perimeter scores. The guard also added four rebounds, three assists and a steal in an all-action contribution to take her team to the Final next month.
