Hi and welcome to a very late posting…..in fact it is technically Saturday here already.  Anyway my only excuse is that I was waiting to hear about last minute changes to this weekend’s games so that I could give you all the correct info on what is a busy and very important couple of days for the Hatters.

The action begins on Saturday as Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters make the trip to Cardiff for their penultimate league game. The Hatters are ...

Sorry for the delay in posting especially as it is such an important weekend for three of our teams.

First up at 1.00pm today the U16s welcome County Upper Wolves to All Saints for their first round playoff game.  A win would see them through to the last eight but a loss means the end of their season so do get down and support them if you can.

Meanwhile the WBBL Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters will be travelling to the Morningside Arena ...

Happy Easter to you all…..hope you enjoy your long weekend (assuming you do have time off!)  It is a quiet weekend for the Hatters with just the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters WBBL team in action.  They travel to Manchester on Saturday for their second group Trophy game.  A win will see them through to the semi-final whilst a loss would mean all 3 teams would be equal on points!  The tip is at 4pm at the National Basketball Performance Centre.

As ...

Welcome to a very late Friday Forum……sorry I have been out all day.  The U14s have completed their fixtures and have finished top of the North section so will have a home fixture in the upcoming playoffs.  The U18s have also completed their fixtures and are second in the North to Charnwood but must wait until all fixtures are complete before they know their playoff position.

The U16s have one more fixture to play tomorrow (Saturday) when they travel to Nottingham ...

A fairly quiet weekend for the Hatters as the end of the regular season approaches for the junior teams and the WBBL moves into the Trophy games.

The only National League game this weekend is for the U14s who travel the short distance to play Hatfield at 12.15pm on Sunday.

The U16s (who have just one more league game to play next weekend) and U18s (who have completed their fixtures) will be watching for other results which can still affect playoff positions.

Meanwhile ...

So another busy weekend for the Hatters starts early this week when the Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters play Oakland Wolves at 5.04pm this afternoon (Friday).  This game is at the EIS before the Sheffield Sharks game at 7.30pm. The game is being broadcast by the BBC (hence the precise timing).  Despite the change of venue the price for just the Hatters game is the same as usual home games (just £2 and £1 for concessions) and you can pay on ...

Hope you are all safe and warm and that this weeks weather has not caused you too much inconvenience (or worse).  I have been delaying writing this in case there are any cancellations due to the weather but as of now I have heard of none.  The Hatters are a hardy bunch and training sessions have gone on as normal all week. Tomorrow (Saturday) the U16s are due to travel to West Herts for a 3.15pm tip.  Then on Sunday ...

Welcome to the last weekend in February…….a quiet one for the Hatters as none of the junior teams are in action.  The Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters WBBL team do however play on Sunday.  They travel with coach Ness who has returned from two very successful games with the GB team to Oaklands.  Oaklands are on a winning streak having won their last 4 games but Hatters will be determined to spoil that record as the end of season gets closer ...

With Coach Vanessa Ellis away at GB training and European qualifying games there is no WBBL fixture this weekend although the girls will be playing a friendly as part of their training schedule on Sunday afternoon.

All the junior teams are in action however.  On Saturday the U14s travel to Tameside and the U16s to Nottingham but there is one game at All Saints and it could be a very important one.  The U18s tip at 3pm v their old rivals ...
