Nerves were high before the ball even went up meaning the whole team were on their toes and focused solely on winning. There was a big focus on stopping the post players receiving the ball which in some cases led to good steals or halting their offenses. And occasionally, Div 2 were able to make plays that led to easy layups allowing them to win the first half 28-23.

During the second half, Hatters were able to stay ahead for most ...

Home vs Luton- Match report

U16 premier won the tip off against Luton and went straight into a fast break with a nice pass and cut finished with a layup to start off the game. Being Div 2’s first game of the new year, the game started off slowly with Div 2 allowing the opposition to gain several baskets in advance. Fortunately, Hatters picked up the pace and were able to gain a lead in the first quarter. During the second quarter, Div 2 were clearly more ambitious and played more energetically (which was evident in their defence) than when they had initially started which meant the opposition only scored one basket whilst hatters scored ...
