Luton v Hatters – U16s

The Sheffield Hatters started of their game against Luton in a positive fashion which consisted of strong defence and patience on offence this allowed the Hatter’s  to end the first quarter in the lead.
The third and second quarter continued in a similar fashion The 4th quarter saw the Hatters working together to win the game comfortably On to the next !!!!

Hatters v Manchester – U16s

Having unfortunately lost their last two league games, the Sheffield Hatters started the game with a new attitude and team tactics against one of their biggest competitors ‘Manchester Mystics’. The first quarter was extremely close with great offensive plays from both teams  finishing at 23-24. The second quarter was intense as the Sheffield supporters made huge noise as hatters worked hard on court. Lancashire Spinners v Hatters – Division 2

Division 2’s game against Lancashire Spinners started off slow with Div 2 in the lead by a few points with many baskets coming from Ava and fast breaks causing the defence to crumble. The team was also able to defend their post player well considering the large size difference. The first half ended with the score being 20-31 to Hatters.

The Sheffield Hatters went into their cup game against London Feltham Warriors with positivity and determination. Whilst both teams gained 4 team fouls creating several free throws, the Hatter’s  claimed a strong lead ending the first quarter at 25-14.The second quarter started with an immediate basket from Fallon, later followed by two 3 pointers from  Oliver and one from Jokonya. Hatters v Derby Trailblazers – Division 2

The game started off very quick paced with few shots being made by Div 2 allowing the opposition to gain a good lead. Confidence rose greatly during the second quarter allowing Div 2 players to create opportunities and draw fouls from the other team.
