Sheffield, UK - 7th August, 2026 - The B. Braun Sheffield Hatters are pleased to announce the signing of Tia Morgan for the 2026/27 season.
The 24-year-old 5’8” American guard, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, signs her first professional contract with the Hatters for the new Super League Basketball season. Tia most recently played for the Fordham Rams in NCAAW, averaging 5.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the 2025/26 season. Morgan also played for Arkansas Pine Bluff (2022-2024) and Purdue Fort-Wayne (2024-2025) in NCAAW.
Tia is looking forward to joining the Hatters, stating, “I’m really excited to be signing for the Hatters in 2026/27. I have heard great things about the team and the league in the UK. To see the success the Hatters had last year is really impressive, so I’m hoping I can contribute to continuing that winning culture.”
Sheffield Hatters Head Coach Vanessa Ellis stated “Tia will be a great addition for us for the new season. She will be a great fit in the locker room and has some good experience from the NCAAW. I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do on the court in what will be her first season as a professional.”
