Sheffield, UK - 21st August, 2026 - The B. Braun Sheffield Hatters are pleased to announce the signing of MJ Sarkodee-Adoo for the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old British forward signs with the Hatters for the new Super League Basketball season. For the 2025/26 season, MJ played in Spain with C.B. Arelsa in Primera Nacional Femenina, averaging 11 points and 7 rebounds per game. Sarkodee-Adoo also has British playing experience, having previously played for the London Lions and Oaklands Wolves, as well as representing GB at Under-16 level.
MJ is looking forward to joining the Hatters, stating, “I’m very excited to be joining the Hatters for the 2026/27 season. They are an historic club and the success they had last year speaks for itself, so I’m thrilled to be joining the Hatters for the new season.”
Sheffield Hatters Head Coach Vanessa Ellis stated “I’m delighted that MJ has decided to join us this season. Having played at a good level in Spain last season, I’m looking forward to seeing MJ bring that experience to us this season.”
